Fight across a fantasy world in Darkfall Rise of Agon
Darkfall Rise of Agon is a massively multiplayer online fantasy role-playing game with a strong focus on PvP combat. It is a spinoff from the now-defunct fantasy online game Darkfall. Character advancement is based on player actions, which determine skill progression, giving you the freedom to develop your character exactly the way you want to.
An unforgiving world
If you've played other multiplayer online role-playing games, most of Darkfall Rise of Agon will seem reasonably familiar; the various hotbars and interfaces are well-organised and easy to use. Unlike many popular MMOs, this game uses a first-person perspective. Combat is much more based on player skill and reaction time than many other games, so if you like to go head-to-head with other players rather than rely on your character's abilities (which are still important, of course), this might be the right game for you. There are no safe areas; PvP is possible anywhere in the game world. Not only are there no PvE-only areas, but PvP is full-loot, so you can plunder your victims' corpses, even taking their heads. Of course, the same is true in reverse, so you may find yourself robbed as well.
A home for the hardcore
If you like PvP skill-based combat and fine-tuning your character, Darkfall Rise of Agon could be a challenging but enjoyable experience. Prepare to invest some time if you want to compete.
